For a few moments, as the ball drifted in the air towards the rim, and the clock expired, the American Airlines Center was silent. That would all change a split second later.

After Vince Carter got the final shot off in the game following an inbound pass, it did in fact go in, meaning Dallas Mavericks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of their NBA Playoffs clash.

Why John Cena Won’t Ever Turn Heel

BY CENA HARPIN

There has always been that big million dollar question floating around the WWE and it’s fans, and that question is, will John Cena ever turn heel? In this article, I tell you why I don’t think it will ever happen.

John Cena has been working the babyface role for most of his WWE career now, and as time goes on, it’s seeming more and more unlikely that the 14-time World Champion will ever turn heel. In WWE’s point of view, it would seem stupid to ever turn Cena heel, as the fans love him (well most), and he’s arguably the company’s top buyrate machine, whether that’s being him being on the programme nearly ever week, his merchandise, or even his part of the Make A Wish campaign, or anything else that Cena is good at.

Cena is arguably one of WWE’s best all-round performers, his mic-work, in-ring work, selling, or emotion. It’s not hard to notice that all the kids love him, idolize him, and look up to him, so why would WWE ruin any of that by turning him into a bad guy?

They won’t, and probably can’t do that because they would most likely lose money over doing it. This may be unlikely to happen, but if Cena ever turns heel, kids might not want to attend shows to see their idol as a bad guy, and playing a big heel role. That’s one of the first reason’s why WWE can’t turn him heel. It would lose them some money.

The Cenation leader is also WWE’s biggest source of merchandise money, as he sells more than anybody in the WWE today, as he sold five times more merchandise than the top #2 sellers this past month. Some of his shirts are actually quite inspirational, and motivational, as some of them say “Never Give Up”, and “Rise Above Hate”. If he was a heel, there wouldn’t me any of those catchphrases on his shirts.

John Cena is also very well known for his work in the Make A Wish campaign. This may be one of the biggest reasons why he won’t ever turn heel. I mean, you can’t have a guy who is the nasty, heel on TV, turning back to a good, and nice guy in real life, doing the Make a Wish campaign. It would be really weird, and it’d make no sense. No in that perspective, WWE need to keep him as a babyface, and one for the rest of his career. Sure, it would be interesting to see him turn, but you have to think of it from WWE’s perspective.

There are my views on the possibility of John Cena turning heel, but what are yours? You are more than welcome to share your thoughts in the comment box below!
