Mo Farah won the 3000m in 7:36.86 and Usain Bolt’s Jamaican relay team stormed the relay in 35.75 seconds, part of a great day at the London Anniversary Games.

It was a personal best for the Olympic Champion Mo Farah, who took the race easy but then put on an excellent final lap while taking caution ahead of the Championships in Moscow.
Mo Farah broke completely clear of the others to an outstanding ovation to the thousands at the Olympic Stadium.
The Britons who were present to watch got what they wanted, with an excellent performance by Mo Farah. It was a comfortable pace from the start, but he stormed the final lap in a time of 55 seconds.
But the work is not done there as Mo Farah has the intentions for further success at his upcoming Championships:
“This is where I love to run and last year at the Olympics was a really big year for me. This is where I made my name. Each time I race I want to make my country proud. I am honored to represent my country. Tomorrow I’ll go to St Moritz to train ahead of the World Championships and hopefully I’ll get on the podium there.”
Jamaica were outstanding in the 4x100m relay, they were on point with the baton transfers. Meanwhile, Britain dropped the baton and were left in despair.
Usain Bolt stormed through the final straight but just fell short of the record.
A time of 35.75 seconds keeps Jamaica on top, and looking unstoppable.
The London Anniversary Games brings back great memories from the London 2012 Olympics, and the victors remain in Mo Farah and Usain Bolt. Could this be the same outcome in the Moscow Championships?
