Drew Brees threw for 392 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Saints routed the Cowboys. Tony Romo didn’t fare as well as he only threw for 128 yards and 1 touchdown. The backstory in the this win is the performance of Mark Ingram. Ingram ran for 145 yards and 1 touchdowns in 14 carries. Arguably his best game since he was drafted out of Alabama in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft. Pierre Thomas also ran for 87 yards to go along with 1 touchdown. Marques Colston was the leading receiver for the Saints, catching 107 yards and 1 touchdown. In a hard-fought matchup against the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers, the Panthers made a name for themselves. They justified their play as elite. Steve Smith lead Carolina with 8 catches for 63 yards. DeAngelo Williams was Carolina’s leading rusher with 46 yards and a touchdown. The 49ers did win in one category, Frank Gore lead all rushers with 82 yards in 16 carries. However,Colin Kaepernick would probably want to forget his 91 yard,1 interception performance. The Panthers are now 6-3 and are 1 game behind in the NFC South, behind the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers do however currently hold the 2nd NFC Wildcard spot. They will face the New England Patriots On MNF In Week 11. The 49ers will travel to New Orleans face a very dangerous Saints team.

Sam Bradford was leading the Rams to a promising season, but now the Rams are looking for a new starter. Bradford tore his ACL Sunday against Carolina, and is out for the season. Jay Cutler is just another Quarterback who is out a while. Cutler suffered a muscle tear in his groin Sunday and is expected to be out for at least 4 weeks. Veteran Wide Receiver Reggie Wayne tore his ACL Sunday and is out for 2013. Packers’ Tight End Jermichael Finley is also out with a scary neck injury. His playing status for the rest of the season is very unfavorable. Tampa Bay Running Back Doug Martin might be out for the season as he tore a labrum in his shoulder. The Texans who have had a very unsuccessful start have to deal with a another huge problem. Linebacker Brian Cushing is out for the season with a broke leg. With all these injuries many teams are in distress and are trying to find ways to accomplish a successful season without key players.

NFL: Winless After Week 3

Eli, Griffin, Peterson, Big Ben And Revis Are All 0-3, Newton Wins Big!

A Disappointed Big Ben Leaving The Field After A 40-23 Loss To The Bears.

Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III, Adrian Peterson and Darrell Revis all have one thing in common, they are all 0-3. Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers on the other hand can celebrate a win. Brian Hoyer and the Cleveland Browns can do the same. But with stars like Eli, RGIII, Peterson and Revis combining for a 0-12 record, there’s a problem. The Giants will
have another daunting task at hand next week, playing Alex Smith and the 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs. The Vikings also have a difficult road ahead, having to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in London next. As for the Steelers, they finally got the offense going last night against the Bears, but Big Ben’s 2 lost fumbles and 2 interceptions, one for a touchdown is what really killed them. The Redskins and Buccaneers however have have an easier road ahead, playing the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals, respectively.
