Early Predictions For UFC 173

The UFC Middleweight strap will hang in the balance come May 24, as Chris Weidman defends against Lyoto Machida. Here is an early, bold prediction for the Memorial Weekend fight card.

Going into this event Weidman is the UFC Middleweight Champion of the World, but will Machida change that? So my prediction is that it will be a 4th round knockout from a knee in the face to any of the competitors in this match up at the end of May Live on Pay-Per-View, it will be such an unpredictable brawl between the two middleweight stars in the UFC.

Its such a bold prediction because both like to possess striking at their forte, and leaning towards a Machida knee would be more likely considering his striking preferences. In addition, I think both possess enough grappling ability to keep one another at bay, although Weidman’s wrestling will of course help him score. Kicks may be shrugged off a bit considering Weidman’s leg kick check to Silva at UFC 168, and a knee is the best way to break the guards when they will not have much left in the tank.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos also features on the card as Stipe Miocic battles the Brazillian in a bid to take him up a level. Junior Dos Santos’ knockout power will see him through.

UFC 173 is live on Saturday 24 May, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. UK fight fans can watch the action unfold on BT Sport, while in the states you can order on pay-per-view.

Paul Scholes To Return To Manchester United Coaching Staff

Paul Scholes will return to Manchester United, this time as a part of David Moyes’ coaching staff for the Red Devils.

The reason Paul Scholes will return to Manchester United to join David Moyes’s coaching staff because United have not been that good in the Premier League this season, so Moyes thinks that will be for the best and it will take place at the end of the season.

Scholes will be the fitness, passing and long range shooting coach while Gary Neville is the defending coach and Van Der Sar for the Goal keepers.

This will be a good decision for United and may hep them to an improved season in 2014/15, with it being clear that this year has been far from satisfying.

Does Rooney’s Goal Eclipse David Beckham’s As One Of The Best In Man United History?

BY @IMWITHLESNAR

Despite David Beckham scoring one of the best goals in the history of Manchester United, has Wayne Rooney done the same in their clash against West Ham United on Saturday the 22nd of March 2014?

Rooney scored from just under 60 yards on Saturday. STANDARD

As you can see by David Beckham’s face he has being challenged for the greatest United goal of all time, Rooney sparkles as his volley from 49 yards has an outside curl and doesn’t bounce until it hits the back of the net.

Now the decision for Wayne Rooney is 49 yard goal or Overhead kick?

David Beckham’s face may be a sign of disbelief, despite Rooney getting that goal, nobody knew how Wayne did it because he has been appalling this season and that changed peoples minds. The question is can Rooney get more to help United vs Bayern Munich and get Manchester United in the Champions League this season.
